After ‘Arjun Reddy,’ many changes took place in the production of short films in Telugu. The rough portrayal of the hero, excessive dialogues, romance. These elements are mostly embedded. Not focusing too much on the story. The film ‘Falaknuma Das’ was released on Friday in Hyderabad old town style. The trailer of this movie, which came with dialogues with whores, has immensely increased the movie’s interest. Expectations have risen with the release of the film by a big company like Suresh Productions. Let’s go into the review and see how the movie is.
Firstly, Das (Vishwak Sen) is a boy from Falaknuma in Hyderabad. He was born and raised in Falaknuma. Read, all friends are there, so everyone calls him ‘Falaknuma Das.’ At a young age, Das was fascinated by the work of a rowdy sheeter named Sankaranna. Inspired by himself, he maintains the gang. He follows Sankaranna with some friends and takes the lead in the fight. And also, He starts a mutton business with friends to make money. Das Mutton has to do business with those who killed Sankaranna under the wrong circumstances. And also, In this sequence, Das has a confrontation with those who killed Sankaranna. Das embroils in a murder case. How did Das get out of this murder case? That is the movie.
Vishwak Sen, who has acted in the films ‘Vellipomake’ and ‘Eenangaraniki Emaindi,’ took the megaphone this time. He worked as a hero and directed himself. With a few changes, the film was shot in the backdrop of the old city of Hyderabad. Increased interest with teasers and trailers. However, there is nothing as great a movie, as shown in them. Vishwak Sen, who was impressed as an actor, failed miserably as a director. It is better to focus on the story and articles, focusing on mass elements and excessive dialogue in the film. It is a concise story. And also, The narrative is essential for a story like this. But, in the second half, the story was prolonged. It was more like a serial.
Vishwak Sen portrayed the conditions in Falaknuma, their lives, the language they spoke, the conflicts on the screen. In addition to this, there are more whores in the dialogues. Whether the youth and those who like mass movies like these dialogues and scenes or not, it is difficult for class and theater audiences to digest. And also, Although the love track, college episodes, and action scenes in Fastoff are not right, the second half is very annoying. The interval twist doesn’t even give a big kick.
When it comes to the cast, Vishwak Sen tried to carry the film on his shoulders. The highlight of the film is his acting. Vishwak Sen was blindsided by what the old town guys look like and their attitude. Dialog delivery, timing is excellent. And also, If not, he was a little embarrassed in the emotional scenes. Uttej did the right role after a long time.
Hero Rough and Tough Attitude, two or three whore dialogues, intoxicating romance ‘Falaknuma Das’ have again proved that these are not enough for a movie’s success.
